Terron Armstead plays offensive tackle for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League. He is 1.96 meters tall. He was created on July 23, 1991, in Cahokia, Illinois, a country in the United States. He attended Cahokia High School, where he received letters for track and football. In addition, from 2009 to 2012, he competed in collegiate football with the Golden Lions of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

He was chosen as an All-Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) player during his final three seasons at Arkansas-Pine Bluff. He was chosen by the New Orleans Saints in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. In May 2013, Armstead and the Saints reached an agreement on a four-year, $2.86 million deal that also included a $617,436 signing bonus. He began his rookie season filling in at left tackle for Charles Brown.

In September 2013, he took part in his first game of the regular season against the Arizona Cardinals. In May 2016, Armstead and the Saints agreed to a five-year, $65 million contract. The contract includes a $11 million signing bonus and a $38 million guarantee. He was added to the reserve/COVID-19 list by the team on November 28, 2020, and he was activated on December 9 of the same year. On March 22, 2022, Armstead and the Miami Dolphins reached an agreement on a five-year, $75 million deal. $43.37 million of that total was guaranteed.
