The 1976 Buccaneers scored an average of 8.9 points per game and were shut out five times, with the greatest defeat coming at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers (42-0). The most points they’ve ever scored in a game was 20 in one instance.

With 26 losses in the last two seasons, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have suffered more defeats than any other team in the NFL during that time period.

Despite winning the Super Bowl in 2011, the Buccaneers have failed to win a playoff game since then, and they haven’t even made it to the postseason since 2007. While 2010 was the last winning season since Gruden’s firing, the 10-6 record was not good enough to earn any form of award.

To make matters worse, they’ve been a laughing stock of the NFL for the majority of that time span, and not only because of their defeats.

From Raheem Morris losing entire control of his club in 2011 to Greg Schiano’s bluster and bullying to MRSA, to Lovie Smith taking over and losing more games in a season than he has ever lost in a season, there has been a lot of drama. The Buccaneers have endured a difficult couple of seasons recently.
