Patrick recorded the first reception of his professional career, a 26-yard catch, in the Broncos’ Week 2 victory over the Oakland Raiders.
He caught the ball while the Broncos were driving late in the game, which helped set up the game-winning field goal. He recorded his first professional receiving touchdown on a 24-yard reception in a Week 8 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
He recorded 23 receptions for 315 yards and a score in the 2018 campaign. Patrick was acquired by the San Francisco 49ers on July 31, 2017. On September 1st, 2017, he was released.
After breaking his hand in Week 1, Patrick was put on injured reserve on September 11, 2019. On October 30, 2019, he was put back on injured reserve and started participating in team practices once more. Patrick was reactivated by the Broncos off injured reserve on November 15, 2019.
During his three seasons at Utah (2014–16), Patrick had 22 appearances (14 starts), recording 61 catches for 888 yards and five touchdowns. Patrick missed 17 games while playing for Utah because of injury.
Patrick led the club in receptions (45) and receiving yards (711) as well as touchdown catches in 2016. On April 18, 2020, Patrick agreed to a one-year exclusive rights free agent tender with the Broncos.
