Tom Parker was a British musician who was known to be part of the British-Irish boy band, The Wanted. Tom was born on August 4, 1988, in Bolton in the United Kingdom.
Tom was raised in Bolton and he learned to play the guitar using his big brother’s guitar at the age of sixteen. When he became perfect at it, he decided to audition for The X Factor but he wasn’t selected.
After high school, Tom attended the Manchester Metropolitan University where he studied Geography. He later dropped out of school to chase his dream of becoming a professional singer.
Tom posted his website and tour dates when he released his solo song titled “Undiscovered. Apart from being a singer, he is also known to be an avid DJ and has collaborated with Richard Rawson on a track called “Fireflies”, which was released in 2014 and 2015.
In October 2020, Tom announced that he had been diagnosed with an inoperable grade 4 glioblastoma, a type of brain tumour. Unfortunately, his condition got bad at some point and he died on March 30, 2022, at the age of 33 from a brain tumour.
