Trent Brown is a professional offensive tackle for the National Football League’s New England Patriots. He is 2.03 m tall and 172 kg in weight. He was a student at the Deerfield-Windsor School before transferring to Westover Comprehensive High School. A two-year college football player for the GMC Bulldogs, he enrolled at Georgia Military College.
After showcasing his abilities at the junior college level, where he was named to the second team of the NJCAA All-Americans in 2012, he was recruited by a number of NCAA Division I schools. However, he ultimately decided to continue his college career at the University of Florida, signing a National Letter of Intent. In May 2013, he started playing collegiate football for the University’s Florida Gators squad.
The San Francisco 49ers selected Brown in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft in May. He was acquired by the New England Patriots in a trade in April 2018. He committed to the Oakland Raiders in March 2019 to a four-year, $66 million deal with $36.75 million guaranteed. He was transferred once more to the New England Patriots in March 2021.
The Patriots selected him as their starting right tackle. In Week 1, he sustained a calf injury. He missed the following three games and was eventually placed on injured reserve in October 2021. In November 2021, he was made active. The Patriots re-signed him to a two-year, $13 million contract on March 21, 2022.
