Tyler Kinley is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Minnesota Twins and Miami Marlins.
A career-high 70.1 innings of bullpen work and 70 appearances in 2021 put Tyler in the driver’s seat for the Rockies, and his 68 strikeouts placed him second on the team.

At San Francisco, he recorded his best five-out performance of the season, striking out five hitters, and he hasn’t allowed a run in 21 of his last 25 appearances.
There were six home runs allowed in 22 games between June 5 and August 7 and he had previously recorded nine scoreless innings (9.0 IP) with no walks and eight strikeouts during this period.
In September, he had a 2.03 ERA (13.1 innings, 3 earned runs) with a.167 batting average in 14 games. Among the 42 inherited runners, Tyler allowed 19 to score, a 45.2 percent success rate, which was the highest in the National League and third-highest in the Major Leagues.
After being claimed off waivers from Miami on December 9, 2019, Kinley had his debut season with Colorado, during which he played a total of 24 games and was on the receiving end of six goals throughout those 24 games.
