Ursula Lehr was the former federal minister of youth, family, women and health from 1989 to 1990 who also was a member of the Bundestag.
Ursula was born on June 5, 1930, in Bonn, Germany but unfortunately passed away on April 25, 2022. She was German by nationality and was a member of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany party.
The German Scholar and age researcher has won herself many awards for her immense contribution with open of them being the Order of Merit of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Ursula began her education at the Goethe University Frankfurt where she did her master’s degree and then furthered to the University of Bonn where she got her PhD.
Lehr was the founder of the German centre for research on ageing (DZFA) at the University of Heidelberg which was established in 1995 and headed the centre until 1998.
She is known to have held many positions as she was once a chair of the German society of gerontology and geriatrics from the year 1997 to the year 1998.
