He signed a $1.78 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers after being drafted 24th in the 2015 Major League Baseball draft.
As soon as he signed, it was discovered that he would need Tommy John’s surgery and would be sidelined for 18 months.
Finally, on August 23, 2016, he made his major league baseball debut with the Arizona League Dodgers, striking out three and retiring all six of his opponent’s batters in a row.
