Alex Sykes is a French native who grew up in France. In the year 1974, Alex Niedbalski (now Alex Sykes) was born.
She is a successful businesswoman who graduated from a prominent business school in Paris. She currently works for a Canadian kitchen countertop firm as the senior vice president of sales.
In 2006, while on a ferry voyage to New York’s Fire Island, Sykes met her future husband Wanda Skye. It was love at first sight, according to the member of the Crank Yankers.
“Something really said to me – like, audibly – ‘Wow, that’s what you need, Wanda,'” Sykes recalled in 2018.
Wanda Sykes came out publicly as a lesbian shortly after they married in 2008. She did it at a demonstration opposing Proposition 8, a California ballot initiative that would prohibit same-sex marriage.
