Wide receiver Stefon Mar’sean Diggs, also known as Stefon Diggs, plays for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. He was created in Gaithersburg, Maryland, on November 29, 1993.
At Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Montgomery County, Maryland, Stefon participated in football and track. ESPN listed him as the 13th best prospect in the country for the class of 2012.
Although Wednesday is national signing day, don’t anticipate hearing Stefon Diggs make his choice at any point during the day. Diggs, a 5-star wide receiver out of Olney, Maryland’s Our Lady of Good Counsel High School, revealed last week that he would make his choice on February 10.
He had 810 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns in his junior year of 2010. In addition, Stefon finished second in the Gatorade Maryland Player of the Year contest.
He had 770 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns as a senior. For his efforts, Stefon was chosen for the first-team All-Metro expansive receiver squad of the Washington Post as well as the Montgomery Gazette’s All-County team.
Diggs and the Vikings’ seventh-round picks were exchanged for the Buffalo Bills’ first-round (Justin Jefferson), fifth-, and sixth-round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft as well as a fourth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft on March 20, 2020.
Diggs is among the best route runners in the league, but he is also among the top catchers in the league.
Diggs has ranked eighth or better in separation rate against single coverage, contested-catch grade, and grade versus man coverage since joining Buffalo in 2020.
