Despite being involved in a car accident this morning, Bruno Fernandes is set to train with Manchester United on Monday.
On Monday morning, the Portuguese midfielder’s Porsche was involved in a collision, although no one was seriously hurt.
Fernandes will travel to Carrington as usual this afternoon and practice with the rest of Ralf Rangnick’s side ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League match against Liverpool at Anfield.
On Saturday, the 27-year-old played 90 minutes in United’s 3-2 Premier League win over Norwich, and he is likely to start on Merseyside tomorrow.
The former Sporting CP player was observed standing on the street near the accident scene. His own car said to be worth £94,000, is shown, as is a Volkswagen that appears to have been damaged.
The second car in the collision is thought to have crashed into a wooden fence, causing its airbag to activate. There have been no updates on the injuries sustained by those in the other vehicle at the time of writing.
Fernandes is scheduled to play for Manchester United against Liverpool in a Premier League match at Anfield on Tuesday night. The 27-year-old also started the rematch, which Jurgen Klopp’s team won 5-0.
Fernandes had also started for Man United against Norwich City in their most recent Premier League game. Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick to give the hosts victory after they battled back from 2-0 down.
