The Dallas Cowboys’ center Alec Lindstrom competes in professional football. He is 1.91 m tall and weighs 137 kg. While attending Shepherd Hill Regional High School, he participated in football. He was given a scholarship offer from UMass, but he decided to play collegiate football at Boston College. While a student at Boston, he played football for the Boston College Eagles team.
He had to miss the first season because of his ailments. After participating in all 13 of the team’s games as the Eagles’ starting center during his redshirt sophomore season, he was chosen for the third team of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). He was named first team All-ACC after making 11 starts for the club as a redshirt junior.
As a junior redshirt, he ran for 1,119 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also participated in each of the 785 offensive plays that occurred throughout the season. He holds a bachelor’s degree in management and leadership from the Carroll School of Management and is presently enrolled in the Woods College of Advancing Studies.
He considered entering the 2021 NFL Draft, but finally decided to stay at Boston College for another season. He was once again selected for the first team All-ACC in 2021 and was a finalist for the Rimington Trophy. He signed on with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2022. When he was fired in August 2022, the practice squad immediately rehired him.
