Christopher Deshun Jones is an American football defensive tackle for the National Football League’s Kansas City Chiefs. He attended Mississippi State University and was taken in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jones attended Houston High School in Houston, Mississippi, where he was a member of the Hilltoppers’ high school football team. Jones was a five-star recruit and was ranked among the class’s finest players. He enrolled to play college football at Mississippi State University.
Jones started three games and appeared in all 13 games as a true freshman for Mississippi State in 2013. He made 32 tackles and had three sacks in his career. Despite playing in all 13 games as a sophomore, he finished with 26 tackles and three sacks.
As a junior, he played in all 13 games and recorded 44 tackles and 2.5 sacks while playing defensive end. When his junior year came to an end, Jones made the choice to forego his senior year and join the 2016 NFL Draft instead.
Jones was expected to be taken in the second round by experts and scouts out of college. According to NFLDraftScout.com, he was listed as the eighth best defensive tackle and the 48th best prospect. All of Jones’ positional exercises and workouts were accomplished at the NFL Combine, in which he was invited to participate.
Jones’ genitalia was revealed when he was running the 40-yard dash due to a wardrobe malfunction, which he fixed by falling to the ground. A lot of people shared this. He went to Mississippi State’s Pro Day, although he merely participated in positional exercises because he was content with his combined performance.
