Donte Deayon was born on January 28, 1994, and currently plays for the National Football League’s Los Angeles Rams (NFL). He attended Boise State University before being signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Giants in 2016.
As a 150-pound cornerback, Deayon competed in college football for the Boise State Broncos. For three consecutive seasons, he was chosen to the Mountain West’s Second Team.
Deayon joined the Los Angeles Rams practice squad on December 12, 2018.
On February 6, 2019, the Rams signed Deayon to a reserve/future contract. On August 31, 2019, he was waived during final roster cuts but was re-signed to the Rams’ practice squad the following day. On November 13, 2019, he was reassigned to the active roster.
Deayon signed a one-year contract extension on March 30, 2020. Deayon was released by the Rams on September 5, 2020, and was immediately added to the practice squad. On October 28, he was placed on the practice squad/injured list and reinstated on November 25.
He was promoted to the active roster on January 15, 2021, for the team’s divisional playoff game against the Green Bay Packers, but was immediately demoted to the practice squad. Deayon re-signed with the Rams on January 18, 2021, on a reserve/future deal.
Deayon was waived by the Rams on August 31, 2021, and re-signed the next day to the practice squad. On October 19, 2021, he was assigned to the active roster.
