With a perfect 5 for 5 field goal and 4 for 4 extra point performance in Week 5 of the 2020 campaign against the San Francisco 49ers, Sanders led the team to a 43-17 victory and the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week award.
In addition, he was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for October after making all 11 of his field goal attempts and all seven of his extra-point attempts.
In Week 10’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers, he missed his first kick of the season. For his efforts in November, Sanders received the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month award.
Sanders won the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week award in Week 16 after making both extra point tries and going 4-for-4 on field goals, including the game-winning 44-yarder in a 26-25 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
