Josh Jobe

The Philadelphia Eagles have officially signed Josh Jobe to their roster. The former Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback signed his deal as an undrafted free agent after graduating from the University of Alabama.

Although Jobe was not chosen by any team during the first seven rounds of the NFL Draft, the Eagles decided to keep him on the team instead.

The announcement was made on Friday, and Jobe is one of 12 free agents who signed contracts with the team. Now, he is trying everything in his power to earn a spot on the Eagles 53-man roster.

Jobe was a four-star prospect who joined the Alabama Crimson Tide as a member of the team’s 2018 recruiting class. In 2020, he had a fantastic season, but in 2021, he struggled due to a foot injury and psychological flaws.

Due to a turf toe, Jobe was sidelined for three games, and he also struggled with defensive holding and pass interference rulings. During the previous season, the 5-foot-11, 182-pound defensive back made 38 tackles, four pass breakups, and two interceptions.

Jobe must work on improving his technique in order to realize his potential as a cornerback in the NFL, despite the fact that he boasts the necessary physical stature.
