Joshua Kaindoh was born on December 27, 1998, in Baltimore, Maryland. He attended Florida State University, where he was a member of the Florida State football team.

Joshua Kaindoh is a defensive end for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. At Florida State, he played collegiate football before being selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Kaindoh was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fourth round (144th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft, making him the 144th overall pick. On May 13, 2021, he officially signed his four-year rookie contract with the team.  On October 5, 2021, he was placed on an injured reserve as a result of his injuries. On the 12th of January in the year 2022, he was activated.

During the 2017 recruiting process,   Kaindoh was listed as the nation’s top defensive end and No. 5 overall prospect. He received over 30 scholarship offers as the state’s No. 2 talent before committing to the Seminoles.

Surprisingly, the top prospect in Florida that year was offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood, who was taken by the Las Vegas Raiders with the No. 17 overall choice on Thursday night. Kaindoh and Leatherwood will now face off twice a year as division rivals.
