Kathy Najimy is an American actress, activist, and comedian. She is most recognized for her outstanding performances in the NBC sitcom Veronica’s Closet and the film “Hocus Pocus.”
Najimy revealed that she had a broken rib during the filming of the first half of Hocus Pocus 2.

On February 6, 1957, Kathy was born in San Diego, California to her Lebanese- American parents Fred Najimy and Samia Massery. Her father was a well-known postal worker whereas her mother, who had come to the United States in 1946, was originally from Lebanon.
Crawford High School was Najimy’s place of study. She later attended San Diego State University, where she earned a degree in 1995. From the beginning, she was drawn to comedy and acting.
She made an appearance in The Kathy and Mo Show, a feminist comedy piece, in 1986.
The comedy piece ran in New York City for three terms. In addition, The Dark Side and Parallel Lives, two HBO specials, were inspired by the play.
