Kevin O’Connell has been an American football coach since 2015. He is a former player in the National Football League (NFL). He played as a quarterback for San Diego State and the New England Patriots team later drafted him during the third round of the 2008 NFL draft.
He also played for the Detroit Lions during the offseason in 2009. That same year, he joined the New York Jets team where he played for a year. In 2011, he joined the Miami Dolphins team as a practice squad member. He later played for San Diego Chargers in 2012 after which he retired from playing.
