K’Waun Lamar Williams is an American football cornerback who currently plays for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League.
Williams was born on July 12, 1991. He attended Saint Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, New Jersey, before going on to play collegiate football at the University of Pittsburgh.
Williams was a member of the Saint Joseph Regional High School Green Knights football team while he was in high school. He was also a cornerback, wide receiver, and running back for the team.
He was chosen to participate in the All-New Jersey team. During his senior season, Williams amassed a total of 32 tackles, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries.
He also scored four rushing scores and four receiving touchdowns. Williams was a member of the Pittsburgh Panthers from 2010 through 2013 while he was active in the NFL.
According to DraftScout.com, Williams is the cornerback prospect with the 92nd-best overall potential for the 2014 NFL Draft.
Williams has not selected in the NFL Draft in 2014 however the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers both extended invitations to him to try out for their teams.
Williams turned on the opportunity to participate in the rookie camp held by the Pittsburgh Steelers in order to spend more time with Browns defensive backs coach Jeff Hafley.
