Hollywood Marquis Brown, a wide receiver for the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals, was born on June 4, 1997. He currently plays the number #2 for the team.
He was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft after playing college football at College of the Canyons and Oklahoma.
Brown was born in Hollywood, Florida, on June 4, 1997. Even though they were on different teams, they played Pop Warner football in the same Florida league as Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.
The Baltimore Ravens choose Brown with the 25th overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He was chosen as the first wide receiver. On June 7, 2019, he executed his rookie contract.
Following a change in the NFL’s jersey number regulations in 2021, Brown switched his jersey number from #15 to #5. Brown has six receptions for 113 yards and a score in Week 2’s matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.
His third 100-yard game in the regular season of his career, it was also his first since Week 1 of the 2020 campaign. The Ravens would come back to defeat the opponent 36–35.
Brown and the third-round pick of the Ravens were dealt to the Arizona Cardinals on the first day of the 2022 NFL Draft in exchange for the 23rd overall pick.
Additionally, the transaction brought Kyler Murray, Brown’s college quarterback, back together. On April 28, 2022, the Cardinals exercised the fifth-year option on Brown’s contract.
