It was announced that defensive back Robert Jackson would be joining the practice squad for the Baltimore Ravens. Jackson, now 28 years old, ended up joining the Colts in 2018 as an undrafted free agent after playing college football for UNLV.
He reached a deal with the Colts that would pay him $1.71 million over the course of three years, but the team ultimately decided to waive him with an injury designation after the preseason.
Jackson joined the Texans’ practice squad for a short time until signing with the Browns. The previous year, Cleveland signed him back on a futures deal, and ever since then, he has been on and off of the roster of their team.
In the end, the Browns decided not to keep him on the team and waived him during training camp. Jackson had 10 appearances for the Browns in 2020 and recorded six tackles, one pass defense, and no interceptions.
He also did not have any pass breakups. Jackson finished his collegiate career at UNLV with a total of 54 tackles, a half sack, nine pass defenses, and no interceptions. These stats were spread out over the course of 16 games.
How Much Does Robert Jackson Make?
Robert Jackson earns a yearly salary of approximately $965,000 on average. He is currently a free agent.
