In the early hours of Saturday (AEDT), Warne’s management issued a brief statement stating that he died of a suspected heart attack in Koh Samui, Thailand.
According to the statement, “The family begs privacy at this time and will share additional details in due course.”
Rod Marsh, who passed away on Friday after having a heart attack the previous week, is the second member of the Australian cricket fraternity to pass away in recent weeks.
