Tony Randall Pollard is a running back in American football. He is currently a member of the Dallas Cowboys football team, which competes in the National Football League.
Pollard was born on the 30th of April in the year 1997. He participated in college football at Memphis, where he was awarded a football scholarship.
The Cowboys picked him up in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Pollard attended Melrose High School for his secondary education, where he was also a member of the school’s varsity football team during his time there.
Because of his versatility, the high school football team he played for used him as a starter in the position of the wide receiver as well as a cornerback in his senior season.
In addition to being recognized as All-District 16-AAA and playing a role in the advancement of the team to the postseason playoffs, he finished the game with over 1,200 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns.
Pollard was awarded the title of Special Teams Player of the Year by the American Athletic Conference in both of his years as a freshman and as a sophomore at the school.
As a junior, he had a total of 78 receptions, each of which gained 7.1 yards (an average of 55.2 yards), and ten touchdowns. In addition, he had one kickoff return that was also good for a touchdown during that season.
At the conclusion of the 2018 Birmingham Bowl, he finished with a total of 318 all-purpose yards, 209 of which came from kickoff returns. One of his touchdowns was on the ground.
