Vyncint Smith, an American football wide receiver with the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League, was born on June 9, 1996.
Smith was born in Germany while his US army parents were stationed there, but he was raised in South Carolina and attended Limestone University where he played collegiate football.
2018 saw him sign as an undrafted free agent with the Houston Texans. Smith played against the New England Patriots in Week 1 to make his NFL debut. The following week, in the New York Giants’ 27-22 defeat, he caught the first pass of his career, a 28-yard reception.
Smith was released by the Texans on August 31, 2019, and the following day he was added to the practice squad.
Off the Texans practice squad, Smith was signed by the New York Jets on September 23, 2019.
Smith and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers agreed to a reserve/future contract on January 31, 2022. On August 21, 2022, he was freed.
