With Corpus Christi in 2015, Josh Hader had a record of 3-3, 3.17 with 10 starts in 17 games. As part of the trade for OF Carlos Gomez and P Mike Fiers, the Astros exchanged Hader for three other prospects, Brett Phillips, Adrian Houser and Domingo Santana.
The Astros also secured a spot in the international pool for the 2015-16 season. With the Biloxi Shuckers, he was 1-4 with a 2.79 ERA in seven appearances.
