American football running back for the New England Patriots of the National Football League, Pierre Strong Jr. was born on December 10, 1998. (NFL).
His college football career was at South Dakota State. Strong attended John L. McClellan High School and was raised in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He rushed for 2,248 yards and 30 touchdowns as a junior, helping McClellan reach the Class 5A state championship game. Strong ran for 1,423 total yards and 25 touchdowns during his senior year despite suffering a season-ending injury on Little Rock McClellan’s final drive of the regular-season game against Pulaski Academy in 2016.
Strong redshirted his true freshman year of college. He ran for 1,116 yards and 11 touchdowns as a redshirt freshman, earning Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) Freshman of the Year honors.
Strong was chosen to be the first team of the MVFC after gaining 1,018 yards and eight touchdowns on 143 runs during his redshirt sophomore season.
He ran for 707 yards as a redshirt junior in the spring 2021 season, which was moved forward from the autumn because of the COVID-19 epidemic.
Strong ran for 1,686 yards and 18 touchdowns as a redshirt senior. He also caught 22 receptions for 150 yards and completed 4-of-4 pass attempts for 62 yards and four touchdowns.
