Jordan Stout is a professional football player who competes in the NFL. For the Baltimore Ravens, he serves as both a placekicker and punter. He weighs 95 kilograms and stands 1.91 meters tall. He was raised in Honaker, Virginia, where he also finished high school.
As a senior, he averaged 47 yards per punt and converted all nine of his field goal attempts, helping him to earn Tigers team MVP honors. He was three times selected for All-State as a kicker. He enrolled in Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University after completing high school, where he played football for the Hokies of Virginia Tech from 2017 to 2018.
He was a walk-on for the football team during his first season and redshirted. As a redshirt freshman kickoff specialist, he had 60 touchbacks on 71 kickoff attempts. After the season, he made the decision to transfer to Penn State, where he had received an athletic scholarship, and he registered on the NCAA transfer website.
From 2019 to 2021, he was a football player for the Penn State Nittany Lions. Prior to the start of his redshirt senior season, he was chosen as Penn State’s kicker, making him the first man since Chris Bahr in 1975 to be in charge of the team’s kickoffs, field goals, and punts. In the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, he was chosen by the Baltimore Ravens.
