Dre Miller was a multi-sport athlete during his high school days. The tight end not only played football but also played basketball and competed in outdoor track and field at Old Town High School.
Miller earned a spot on the All-Maine team as a senior after guiding Old Town to a perfect regular season record and a berth in the Class C North final game. He was voted the Most Valuable Player at the Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl after recording 7 receptions for 207 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also caught 49 passes for a total of 1,068 yards and scored 17 touchdowns.
Miller began his academic career at Husson University for a period of time but ultimately decided to attend the University of Maine instead. During his time at Maine, he participated in a total of 38 games over the course of four seasons and recorded 104 receptions for 1,848 yards (an average of 17.8 yards), 14 touchdowns, and a long catch of 90 yards.
Miller was selected to the All-CAA Second Team in the fall of 2021. He participated in 9 games that season and finished with 39 receptions, 684 receiving yards, and 3 touchdowns.
In 2021, he received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine in kinesiology and physical education.
