What Team Is A.J. Green On?
A.J. Green plays for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. On March 17, 2021, Green and the Arizona Cardinals agreed to terms on a one-year contract worth $8.5 million, with $6 million guaranteed. Beginning with the 2021 season, he was a regular starter alongside veterans DeAndre Hopkins and Christian Kirk.
In Week 3, against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he recorded five receptions for 112 yards in the 31–19 victory. It was Green’s first game with 100 yards or more since Week 7 of 2018. While playing the Green Bay Packers in Week 8, Green was the intended recipient of a game-winning pass from quarterback Kyler Murray.
Rasul Douglas intercepted the thrown pass as a result of Green’s failure to glance at it due to a miscommunication on the play. Green reached 10,000 yards for his career in Week 14 of the season when he caught a pass against the Los Angeles Rams. At the end of the year, he had 54 receptions for 848 yards and three touchdowns.
Green re-signed with the Cardinals for another year on April 14, 2022.
