Michael “Mike” Ford, a cornerback for the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons, plays football professionally. Having a height of 1.83 m, he is 90 kg in weight. When he was a student at Marquette Catholic High School, he played football for the Explorers team. Both on attack and defense, as a senior, he was named to the first team of the conference.
He also received the All-State running back honor after carrying for 1,614 yards and 28 touchdowns. While playing defense, he made 69 stops, recovered two fumbles, and made three interceptions. He also added five more touchdowns on returns. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at Southeast Missouri State University and played for the Redhawks there.
During his first year at the university, he redshirted. He wore a redshirt his freshman year before making his wide receiving debut the following. During his sophomore year, he recorded 44 tackles, five interceptions, and seven pass breakups, earning him second-team All-Ohio Valley Conference honors. He made 32 tackles as a redshirt senior, along with two sacks, an interception, and 14 passes broken up.
Ford inked a free agent agreement with the Detroit Lions on April 28, 2018. The Lions released him in August 2021. He was picked up off waivers in September 2021 by the Denver Broncos. His activation from the injury reserve occurred in October 2021. On November 6, 2021, he was put into service. In April 2022, a partnership agreement was established between Ford and the Atlanta Falcons.
