On the set of “Green Lantern,” Lively and Reynolds met. Lively and Reynolds were cast as the lead parts in “Green Lantern” in the summer of 2010, and they made their first public appearance together at Comic-Con in San Diego.
Starting from the beginning, Ryan Reynolds shared the story of how he successfully charmed over his wife.
“I met Blake on the darkest crease in the anus of the cosmos called Green Lantern,” Reynolds said, referring to their co-starring role in the 2011 superhero picture.
We were friends for a year and a half, and then we went on a double date, but we were dating other individuals.
After keeping things low-key for months, the couple married in front of their family and friends at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
They did give details about Lively’s couture ball gown by Marchesa, their massive dessert table, and the bouquets, albeit no images were shared.
Despite their age, the marriage is still going strong. They have three daughters: James, 6; Inez, 4; and Betty, 1 year. Outside of famously teasing one another on social media, both prefer to remain in the privacy of their own homes.
