Isaiah Dwight Mack is a defensive tackle for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. Mack has been playing for the Ravens since 2021.
Tunnel Hill, Georgia is his hometown, and that’s where he spent his childhood. He went to Northwest Whitfield High School, where he was a member of the football and wrestling teams.
After compiling 137 tackles (30 for loss) and eight sacks during his junior season, Mack was selected for first-team All-Region 7-AAAA and named the regional defensive player of the year.
His 30-tackle performance against Gilmer High School, which also included nine tackles for loss, was the highlight of his junior season.
As a senior, he collected 121 tackles, 21 for losses, 29 quarterback pressures, and four forced fumbles, which led to him being named the defensive player of the year and earning a spot on the first team all-region for the second consecutive year.
He chose the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga over offers from Georgia Southern, Appalachian State, Eastern Kentucky, Georgia State, Coastal Carolina, and Kennesaw State.
Mack played college football for the Chattanooga Mocs for a total of five seasons, including his freshman year as a redshirt. During his redshirt freshman season, he earned a starting position on the Mocs defensive line.
He finished the season with 54 tackles, nine for a loss, 3.5 sacks, and a forced fumble. For his efforts, he was selected to the Southern Conference (SoCon) All-Freshman team.
When Was Isaiah Mack Drafted?
Isaiah Mack was undrafted in 2019. But on April 28, 2019, Mack signed with the Tennessee Titans and made the team out of training camp. Mack played his first NFL game in Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns, a 43-13 road victory. He recorded one tackle in his debut.
