Josh Jones is a well-known offensive tackle for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. He is 141 kg and 2.01 m tall. When he attended George Bush High School, he participated in basketball and football. He was chosen for the All-District 23-5A second team during his sophomore year. He was chosen for the first team as a junior and a senior.
Right out of high school, he was rated as a three-star talent. He declared his intent to enroll at the University of Houston before National Signing Day. Prior to the start of his senior year, he made the decision to play collegiate football with Oklahoma State, but he later changed his mind.
During his time at Houston, he played for the Houston Cougars football team. He redshirted during his true rookie season. As a redshirt senior, he started nine games at left tackle and was chosen for the American Athletic Conference’s second team. After the season was over, Jones was invited to the 2020 Senior Bowl. In the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals made him their number 72 overall pick.
