Makai Polk is an American football wide receiver who currently plays for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. Polk was born on August 4, 2001. (NFL).
Before transferring to Mississippi State, he had a college football career at the University of California. Polk spent his childhood in Richmond,
California, and went to Susan Miller Dorsey High School for his freshman and sophomore years of high school before moving to El Cerrito High School for his junior and senior years.
He participated in four games for California as a freshman and caught 17 passes for 183 yards and one touchdown. As a sophomore at Mississippi State, he led the Southeastern Conference with 105 receptions,
1,048 yards, and nine touchdowns, which placed him in first place. After completing his junior year, Polk informed the NFL that he intends to enter the draft in 2022.
After being passed over in the draft, the Baltimore Ravens decided to take a chance on Polk and sign him as a free agent in May of 2022.
On August 30, 2022, he was released from active duty and then signed to the practice squad the following day.
