Myjai Sanders was a sought-after athlete who was wanted by many colleges after high school. The younger outside linebacker is currently signed by the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League.
Sanders was only the second defensive player ever drafted by Arizona and the sixth Bearcat player in the school’s entire history to be selected.

Myjai Sanders initially attended William M. Raines High School where he started high school football but later transferred to Camden County High School in Kingsland, Georgia.
After high school, he had a lot of offers from different colleges including Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Washington State, and the University of Central Florida but chose the University of Cincinnati.
During his first season, Sanders served as a reserve and appeared in ten games, recording seven tackles. As a sophomore, he was given the starting position and finished the season with 40 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and four sacks.
He was also named to the all-freshman team. As a junior, Sanders was honored by being selected as a semifinalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award.
Sanders had 31 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, 7.0 sacks, and five passes defended in just 10 games that season.
