Dennis Anfernee Santana Sánchez is a professional baseball pitcher from the Dominican Republic. He formerly played for the Los Angeles Dodgers in Major League Baseball.
In March 2013, Santana signed as an international free agent with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
In 2014, he debuted professionally with the Dominican Summer League Dodgers, where he lasted the entire season, going 2-1 with a 1.05 ERA in twenty games
He had a combined 2-5 record and 6.42 ERA in 13 games (11 starts) with the Arizona League Dodgers and Ogden Raptors in 2015, and a 5-9 record and 3.07 ERA with 124 strikeouts in 111.1 innings with the Great Lakes Loons in 2016.
In 2016, he was named to the Midwest League All-Star team with the Loons.
Santana began the 2017 season with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes before being promoted to the Tulsa Drillers midway through the year.
In 24 games with the two teams, he went 8–7 with a 4.11 ERA (21 starts). On November 20, 2017, the Dodgers added him to their 40-man roster.
In May, he was promoted to the AAA Oklahoma City Dodgers after starting the year with Tulsa. He was named the Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Week after striking out 11 batters in six scoreless innings in his debut for them.
The Dodgers summoned Santana up to the majors for the first time on May 30, 2018, and he made his debut on June 1, picking up the win in relief against the Colorado Rockies despite allowing five runs on six hits in 32 innings.
In his debut major league at-bat, he also smashed a two-RBI double.
