Eno Benjamin is a popular name in American football. The 23-year-old running back was drafted by the Cardinals in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Local fans of both the Cardinals and Arizona State rallied online to urge the team to select Eno Benjamin, a running back from Arizona State University, on draft day.

Eno Benjamin is currently with the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football. The Arizona Cardinals picked Arizona State running back Eno Benjamin in the seventh round (222nd overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft.

He was chosen almost exactly in the same location as the last ASU player taken by the Cardinals in the seventh round, 226th overall, in 1998.



During the regular season, Benjamin played in nine games and tallied 118 running yards and a touchdown on 34 attempts in addition to 42 receiving yards on six receptions out of the backfield.

During the Wild Card game, Benjamin also got some playing time, marking his first appearance in the playoffs. In his first NFL game, against the 49ers, he made one special team tackle.

Against Houston, he recorded his first career offensive stats, two rushes for seven yards. Benjamin gained 39 yards on nine carries for his first career touchdown and contributed to an offense that scored over 30 points and 400 yards for the sixth time in a row versus San Francisco.

He had his finest game of the year against the Seahawks, gaining 31 yards on the ground on seven carries and adding 25 receiving yards on four receptions from the backfield. Benjamin had 26 yards from scrimmage (two receptions and eight runs) and from scrimmage (two carries) in his first career postseason game away against LAR.
