As a true freshman in 2010, Fuller started seven games, mostly in the Hokies’ nickel defense.
He made 32 tackles, four of which were for a loss, six pass breakups, and one forced fumble.

Fuller participated in the NFL Scouting Combine and completed all of the drills there. Fuller took part in Virginia Tech’s pro day on March 19, 2014, but he decided to stand on his combined stats and merely do positional drills.
On March 23, 2021, Fuller agreed to a one-year, $9.5 million deal with the Denver Broncos.
Fuller missed the Broncos’ week 8 game against Washington due to poor performance after potentially missing out on playing time in prior games to Nate Hairston and Patrick Surtain II.
Fuller committed to the Baltimore Ravens on May 24, 2022.
