Maddie Thomas, a missing 15-year-old girl, is suspected to have been abducted in Bristol. Police said Maddie Thomas has been missing since April 26 after informing a relative she was going shopping.
Police have stated that they are “very concerned” about her and that she is “vulnerable.” According to police, a teenage girl who has been missing in Bristol since April is now suspected to have been abducted.
Maddie Thomas, 15, went missing on April 26 in the Southmead neighborhood. According to Avon and Somerset Police, “Maddie’s absence is no longer being investigated as a missing person investigation, but as a child abduction.”
Officers suspect she is with a guy, and Detective Inspector Laura Miller said she has “previously gone away and been located in the company of adult men.”
“We assume she is now with someone primarily because of this background, Maddie is a foster kid, and no one has the authority to separate her from her caregivers. She is vulnerable and at risk of being used. ” DI Miller said.
“We’re really concerned about her safety and have a committed team working very hard to find her. Maddie hasn’t been seen or heard from in 15 days, since she told a relative she was going to the store on April 26.” DI Miller also stated.
“The circumstances of her abduction are highly concerning for us; her family and caregivers. We have a variety of lines of inquiry, and while we have had a tremendous deal of assistance from the public to date, for which we are really thankful, we still want more.”
