Frank Pollack attended Phoenix (AZ) Greenway which is a public secondary school located in Phoenix, Arizona. He went to do his bachelor’s degree at North Arizona University.

Pollack was a four-year letter winner from 1985 to 1989 and was named to the Associated Press All-America and All-Big Sky teams in 1989.
The Football Gazette and the NFL Draft Report both named him All-America. In 1990, the 49ers selected him in the sixth round.
Pollack was drafted in the sixth round by San Francisco in 1990 and spent two seasons with the 49ers (1990-91) before joining Denver for two years (1992-93).
He then returned to San Francisco for the final five years of his playing career (1994-98), helping the 49ers win the Super Bowl in 1994.
Pollack began his coaching career at his alma mater, Northern Arizona, where he was the co-offensive line coach in 2005 and the offensive line coach in 2006.
Pollack also aided the success of the Texans’ offensive line in 2010, when it blocked for Arian Foster, the NFL’s leading rusher with 1616 yards and 16 touchdowns (18).
