On January 5, 2021, Baltimore Orioles took to their official website to announce some new faces on Brandon Hyde’s staff for the 2021 season.
The Orioles made their official announcement for the 2021 coaching staff on Tuesday afternoon, making formal a staff whose new names had been floating around for weeks.
Joining Brandon Hyde’s staff for the coming season are pitching coach Chris Holt and third base coach Tony Mansolino. Holt’s addition had been announced by Mike Elias back in November.
Holt and Mansolino replace Doug Brocail and José Flores, who was not retained by the Orioles in those respective roles following the 2020 season.
