Jalen Lattrel Ramsey is an American football cornerback with the National Football League’s Los Angeles Rams. He attended Florida State and was taken fifth overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Ramsey was born in Smyrna, Tennessee, on October 24, 1994, to Lamont and Margie Ramsey, an EMT and Jalen’s training instructor. Jamal, Jalen’s older brother, attended Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, Tennessee, and played quarterback for Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where their father played football.
Jalen honed his football abilities in a neighbourhood park, competing against much older lads. In a household of Florida Gators fans, he grew up rooting for the Miami Hurricanes.
