Who is An Announcer?

An announcer is an individual who through an audio medium makes announcements or even at a physical location. With baseball, announcers are responsible for introducing teams on the pitch of play to the spectators, talking about important details both teams are to look out for from each opposing team and basically “bring the heat on” in a game.

They also give real-time commentary of a game or event, usually during a live broadcast, traditionally delivered in the historical present tense
