Dre’Mont Jones is an American football defensive end who was born on January 5, 1997. He now plays for the Denver Broncos in the National Football League (NFL).
He attended Ohio State University for his college football career. Saint Ignatius High School in Cleveland was Jones’ alma mater,
he earned first-team Division I All-Ohio and U.S. Army All-American honours during his senior year there. Jones graduated in 2015.
He received four stars and was placed seventh in the state of Ohio and 170th in the US among prospective students.
He made the announcement on June 18, 2014, that he would continue his football career at Ohio State University.
Jones was considered a true freshman in 2015 and did not participate in any games or practices during his first year of eligibility.
Jones was named to the first team of the All-Big Ten Conference during his redshirt junior season, during which he started all 14 games.
He established a new record at OSU by becoming the first defensive lineman in the school’s annals to score two defensive touchdowns in a single season.
