Cornelius Lucas, a veteran offensive tackle is currently in his ninth season in the NFL. Lucas initially joined the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent and played three seasons with the team. He has since exuded excellence and tenacity in the competitive sport.
Lucas has played for five NFL teams since his time in the league. He played for the Los Angeles Rams (2017), New Orleans Saints (2018) Chicago Bears (2019), and currently Washington Commanders.
Lucas attended Edna Carr High School in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he was a starter on the football team for three consecutive years.
He was named to the first team of all-stars in his district and was called the Outstanding Offensive Lineman of the Year. Lucas contributed to the success of the Cougars in winning back-to-back district titles in 2007 and 2008.
