Robert Foster plays wide receiver in the National Football League for the New York Giants. He is 88 kilograms and 1.88 meters tall. He played basketball and football while a student at Central Valley High School. He was ranked 23rd overall in the 2013 class and the No. 2 receiver in the country when he graduated from high school.
Over offers from other schools, he decided to play collegiate football with the Alabama Crimson Tide at the University of Alabama. In 2015, he had a redshirt sophomore season, and after receiving 10 passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns in the first three games, he sustained a shoulder injury that ended his season. Throughout his time at Alabama, he caught 35 passes for 389 yards and three touchdowns.
In May 2018, Foster joined the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent. In November 2018, he was elevated to the active roster. On September 5, 2020, as part of the final roster cuts, he was released. He was added to the practice squad of the Green Bay Packers in the same month. The Miami Dolphins acquired his services in March 2021. In August 2021, the Dolphins cut him loose.
Foster was a practice squad member for the Dallas Cowboys as of September 2021. The New York Giants acquired his services in March 2022. He had a hamstring injury in August 2022, and was thereafter put on injured reserve. He joined the Giants’ training squad on October 10, 2022.
