Alica Schmidt, a 22-year-old German track and field star, has been named “the World’s Sexiest Athlete” by a number of fans and blogs, but she’s much more than her flowing blonde hair and lovely blue eyes.
Schmidt has been a competitive runner for many years. She came second in the 4400 relay at the 2017 European Athletics Under-20 Championship, where she won silver. Schmidt earned bronze at the U-23 European Championships in 2019. She is also said to have participated in hurdles and as a jumper.
Schmidt expressed her gratitude in May for being able to run outside again after suffering a “torn ligament and other muscle difficulties,” as she stated in an Instagram post.
Schmidt’s primary emphasis is athletics, but the athlete has amassed a big social media following and a reputation for delivering health and wellness material.
The Olympian has over two million Instagram followers and collaborates with German food brands such as Frosta and Food Spring, a firm that provides organic sports nutrition. When her hectic schedule allows, she likes eating healthy and cooking.
“My family constantly thinks that food is my favorite topic,” Schmidt stated in an Instagram post about her eating habits in the past. She also enjoys sushi and surfing.
Schmidt, an avid traveler, has also collaborated with hospitality, beauty, and fashion firms such as SANTE Naturkosmetik. Schmidt, who was born in Worms, Germany, in 1998, developed a passion for running at an early age.
Schmidt drew the notice of Thomas Kremer, a professional sprinting coach, on a previous family holiday, and he advised her parents sign her up for track, according to The Spun. Schmidt began racing at the age of seven.
She understood she needed to relocate to train with the best in challenging circumstances if she wanted to take her abilities to the next level.
