The Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League are fortunate to have Bradley Pinion, real name Bradley Alexander Pinion, as their punter and kickoff specialist. At 1.96 m tall and 104 kg, he is also quite tall. Northwest Cabarrus High School was where he went to high school and played football. For his college football career, he chose Clemson University.
He participated in collegiate football from 2012 to 2014 with the Clemson Tigers. He only participated in five games as a rookie in 2012, and as a sophomore, he took over as the Tigers’ primary punter. As the Tigers’ primary punter in 2014 as a junior, he kept up that position.
The San Francisco 49ers selected Pinion with the 165th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He agreed to a four-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March 2019. He participated in all 16 contests that season and punted 57 times for 2,464 net yards, a then-career low, at an average of 43.23 yards.
He earned NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in the season-opening win over the Dallas Cowboys, where he punted four times with an average of 49.3 yards, including three inside the 10-yard line. He was cut go by the Buccaneers in June 2022. He signed a contract with the Atlanta Falcons on June 30, 2022.
