Frank Dominick Clark is a defensive end for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). The Seattle Seahawks drafted him in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
Clark was traded to the Chiefs at the end of the 2018 season after being designated as a franchise player by the Seahawks.
The Chiefs have since extended his contract by another year and for an additional $105 million. Clark was twice selected as an All-Big Ten player while he was a student at the University of Michigan and a member of the football team.
As a senior in high school, he recorded 70 tackles and 19 sacks defensively. He had 12 receptions and 3 TDs while on offense.
Clark is a three-star player nationally at outside linebacker, tight end and defensive end. He signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Michigan on February 2, 2011.
He competed in sprints, hurdles, and jumps during his stint on the track and field squad. His honourable mention of Michigan’s All-Big Ten team didn’t save him from being dismissed from the football team in November 2014 due to his involvement in a domestic violence incident.
As a rookie, he made an interception that led to a Michigan touchdown against Virginia Tech in the 2012 Sugar Bowl.
In a 24-21 win over Connecticut on September 21, 2013, Clark recorded 1.5 sacks for the 2013 Wolverines.
